WTW taps new upstream energy head


WTW has announced the appointment of Jamie Lee as managing director and head of upstream energy for North America in its natural resources business. Lee will be based in Houston.

Lee has more than 20 years of industry experience. He joins WTW from Marsh, where he served as managing director of the energy team. Prior to that, he served roles in brokerage and underwriting, working with operators, contractors and service companies to identify and develop market capacity to meet client demand. Lee has extensive knowledge of both upstream energy and the traditional oil and gas sectors.

In his new role, Lee will be responsible for delivering customized advice and developing solutions to capacity constraints for WTW clients, as well as growing the company’s upstream energy portfolio.

“Jamie’s extensive upstream energy experience, market relationships, and multidisciplinary skill set will help WTW expand our upstream portfolio, strengthen our industry position, and further develop strategic alliances within upstream energy,” said Chris Mulvey, managing director and head of client management, natural resources, North America at WTW. “We are excited WTW continues to invest in specialty natural resources talent around the world.”
