Insurance and risk law firm Wotton + Kearney (W + K) has promoted 33 lawyers across its Asia-Pacific offices, effective from July 1, 2024.
The promotions include four new partners, nine special counsel, 10 senior associates, and 10 associates in offices located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Christchurch, and Wellington.
These mid-year promotions highlight the firm’s ongoing expansion and commitment to developing talent within several key practice areas, including:

The following are W + K’s newly promoted partners:
Morgan Campbell, general liability, Sydney
Campbell (pictured) brings extensive experience in handling various insurance claims, representing both domestic and international insurers, underwriting agencies, self-insured organisations, and government entities. His expertise is in managing complex large loss personal injury claims.
James Cooper, property, energy + infrastructure, Melbourne
Cooper joined the firm in early 2024 to lead the aviation practice. He specialises in aviation, maritime, and energy law, with a robust background in both contentious and non-contentious issues.
Stuart Moore, general liability, Melbourne
Moore is involved in the firm’s general liability, property & energy, and subrogation and recoveries practice groups. He focuses on product liability and property damage claims, including both liability defence and subrogated recoveries.
Marcus Saw, financial lines, Sydney
Saw manages construction-related claims for local and international insurers, acting as both coverage and defence counsel. His clients include contractors, building surveyors, architects, designers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
Earlier this year, Maryan Lee, Cindy Lim, and Gemma Burke were promoted to partner in Australia, with James Dymock advancing to partner in New Zealand.
