Bill Conor (pictured, right) specialises in financial lines matters, including general professional indemnity (PI) matters, and construction PI and directors and officers (D&O) claims. He also advises on property damage and business interruption (BI) matters and defamation claims. He joined W + K from Barry.Nilsson.

The appointments follow the entrance of a seasoned defamation lawyer to W + K Melbourne and 29 promotions across Australia and New Zealand.

Wotton + Kearney opens new office

W + K will move to new premises at 25 Grenfell Street on January 27, 2023, to accommodate its rapidly growing Adelaide team.

The insurance law firm now has 71 partners and over 360 dedicated insurance lawyers across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Wellington, and Auckland. It also has an active presence in the London and Singapore markets and provides broader international coverage through its founding membership of Legalign Global, the largest global alliance of law firms focused on the insurance market.
