Vive Crop Protection has announced leadership changes, including hiring Lana Green as national account manager and Steve Eskelsen as northern technical sales agronomist.
The Toronto-based “ag-tech” company also promoted Jonathan Adamson to regional account manager and Greg Esco to national sales manager. The moves are part of Vive’s broader strategy to drive growth, foster innovation, and enhance customer service within the agricultural sector.
With over 15 years of experience at FMC, Syngenta, and Winfield United, Green will manage Vive’s distribution efforts across the US. She will focus on developing strategic distribution frameworks and large account management plans. Her expertise will help boost Vive’s market standing and strengthen relationships with distribution partners.
Dave Rummel, vice president of sales and business development at Vive, said: “Lana’s extensive background in agricultural sales and distribution makes her a vital addition to our team. Her leadership and insights will help us strengthen our presence and better serve our partners nationwide.”
Eskelsen, meanwhile, brings with him a Ph.D. in Horticulture Crop Science and Pest Management. He will oversee agronomic recommendations and technical support, working closely with growers, retailers, and influencers across the northern US. Eskelsen’s responsibilities will also include managing field trials and collaborating with the product management and biology teams to support product innovation.
“Steve’s deep agronomic knowledge and ability to build relationships with key influencers will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Vive’s Precision Chemistry solutions in the northern and western territories,” Rummel said.
As for the internal hires, the promotions reflect their role in helping the company meet its sales goals.
Vive chief executive Darren Anderson had this to say about the appointments: “We are excited about the incredible talent and leadership we’ve added to the team. These strategic hires and promotions will accelerate our ability to deliver innovative solutions to the market, strengthen our partnerships, and continue driving success for growers across the country.”
