Phoenix-based Universal Insurance Programs (UIP) has announced a partnership with INSTANDA for UIP’s specialized insurance sectors, including tanning salons, beauty salons, day spas, and self-storage facilities.

The use of INSTANDA’s no-code platform will allow UIP to implement real-time modifications to its insurance products and integrate third-party technologies. This enhancement is expected to simplify procedures and improve the overall experience for both brokers and insured clients.

While UIP primarily operates on a non-admitted basis, its products are available nationwide.

Jenny Bortman, president of UIP, emphasized the alignment of this partnership with the company’s commitment to simplifying the insurance process for its clients and partners.

“Our partnership with INSTANDA is an investment in the future, allowing us to have more autonomy over our platform and bring the best to our team, clients, broker partners and carriers in terms of products, service and user experience,” Bortman said.

“Universal Insurance Programs is on an exciting growth trajectory requiring enabled, integrated technology that they can control on their own and in real time. We look forward to the role our digital platform will play in empowering UIP to better serve their specialty,” INSTANDA CEO Tim Hardcastle said.
