The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) says its expo at the Sydney International Convention Centre last week drew more than 600 brokers, who saw an opportunity to learn about products and services on offer from some 112 agency and business service members.

The UAC-Lloyd’s event marks the first time that UAC has offered naming rights for its expos, which are held throughout the year in different locations.

“It was the first expo in a new venue, the International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour, which was a much larger space than previous venues,” UAC said. “It gave brokers room to interact with UAC members to learn about the products and services on offer.”

Three lucky brokers went home winners of the Sedgwick-sponsored lucky door prizes.

Jack Kofod of Marsh received a $150 gift voucher; Samantha Chick from Aviso Broking received a $100 voucher; and Ron McCarthy from Barrack Broking won a $250 voucher.
