Scheduled for Feb. 8, at the International Convention Centre on Darling Drive in Sydney, the expo anticipates the participation of about 120 UAC underwriting agency and business service members.

With over 600 brokers expected to attend, the event provides a platform for exhibitors to showcase specialised products and services to the insurance broking community.

Platinum partner

As UAC’s platinum partner for tech and data services, Xceedance will play a prominent role at the Sydney Underwriting Expo and other UAC expos and events throughout 2024.

Prateek Vijayvergia, business leader – key accounts in Australia at Xceedance, emphasised Xceedance’s role in assisting agencies to embrace innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology, ultimately driving profitability, growth, and longevity.

“Xceedance delivers an integrated platform that combines policy administration, underwriting, distribution, communications, and business insights and reporting functions, along with seamless integration of third-party insurance data providers, payment gateways, and document generation solutions,” he said. “We’re proud to be part of UAC’s journey as it embarks on its second quarter century and to support its members.”

UAC CEO Jenny Bax sees this collaboration as an opportunity to facilitate introductions that will enable Xceedance to assist UAC members in streamlining processes and fostering innovation to develop their brands.

“UAC and Xceedance will support each other, and we aim to develop a strong, robust, long-term relationship,” she said.

Simon Lightbody, a long-term director at Xceedance, will serve as a specific board advocate, while the company plans to conduct three webinars throughout 2024 on technical topics to enhance agency teams’ knowledge and identify ways to utilise technology in meeting brokers’ needs.

“We’ll work closely with Xceedance to ensure we maximise opportunities to deliver on expectations. We’ll finetune the relationship as it grows,” Bax said.
