Trio of firms join forces as Lloyd Sadd consulting arm

BCI Benefits, CHS Benefits Consulting, and Vanta Benefits have come together to form Lloyd Sadd Consulting Inc. effective November 1, 2022.

The three local Edmonton brokerages recently announced the merger to combine their strengths and better meet a rapidly evolving benefits landscape under the Lloyd Sadd brand. All Navacord broker partners, BCI Benefits, CHS Benefits Consulting, and Vanta Benefits have collaborated closely in the past. They share common values as well as a common approach to optimizing group benefits and the role of retirement advisors.

“More than ever, the marketplace is demanding specialized knowledge, experienced teams, and technology to drive solutions,” said Ross Langford, who was appointed president of Lloyd Sadd Consulting. “As a combined group, we are increasing our strength and ability to advocate for our clients. In the end, protecting the health and wealth of our clients and their employees is what matters most to all of us, and together, we can do more.”

The new arrangement allows the firms’ staff to grow as part of a bigger organization with market-leading talent management and increased back-office support. Lloyd Sadd Consulting also said the merger complemented the firms’ vision for the future and for their clients.

Under the new arrangement, the BCI Benefits, CHS Benefits Consulting, and Vanta Benefits teams now operate under the Lloyd Sadd brand, constituting a larger suite of advisors with shared best practices, technology, and bench strength.

The new firm clarified that while Lloyd Sadd Consulting and Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers will work together closely to offer clients a holistic and multi-disciplinary experience, the two will remain separate legal entities.

The partnership between Lloyd Sadd and Navacord does not cover Vanta Group’s life insurance and estate-planning business. Vanta Benefits was previously part of Vanta Group.
