Tower grows adviser network

12 September 2022

New Zealand’s Tower has expanded its network of insurance advisers under a new partnership with local aggregator Kiwi Adviser Network (KAN).

The online referral service for advisers went live last week.

KAN has relationships with 200 advisers, including in general insurance and financial planning, personal and business risk and mortgage advice.

CEO Blair Turnbull says its partnerships advisory model has boosted its number of active advisers by 34% to 1535 since November.

Gross Written Premium from Tower’s partnership business has increased by a third to $NZ50 million ($44.75 million) over the past 10 months, Mr Turnbull says.

“These new partnerships further support this positive momentum,” he said.

Tower also partnered with real estate group Ray White, which will offer Tower insurance products via its new Concierge offer, available in Australia for over 16 years.

Ray White customers will be able to access the MyTower platform and update, claim on, and manage their insurance online.
