Thousands heading to Perth for Steadfast Convention

23 March 2023

The Steadfast Convention, Australia’s largest general insurance gathering, begins in Perth on Sunday with more than 2000 delegates expected to attend.

The fully booked event, which returned last year in Adelaide after a two-year break for covid, will feature more than 20 speakers including Steadfast CEO Robert Kelly, former Deputy Prime Minister and Ambassador to the US Kim Beazley and former athlete Jana Pittman.

An industry panel will feature National Insurance Brokers Association CEO Phil Kewin, Underwriting Agencies Council CEO Jenny Bax and Insurance Council of Australia Regulatory Policy GM Alexandra Hordern.

Awards for the Steadfast-ANZIIF Outstanding Insurance Professional and Goldseal Student of the Year will be presented during the convention.

“This year’s theme, Thrive, represents our journey as individuals and entrepreneurial insurance professionals as we have recalibrated after previous years of disruption,” Steadfast says.

“Our aim is to create an environment that brings together industry leaders, brokers, sponsors, service providers, and speakers to connect, celebrate and thrive together.”

The event, which concludes on Tuesday, is being held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
