It’s been a year since we combined our specialist MGAs under one brand and since then, our business has gone from strength to strength.

We have embraced a new, unified brand at Q Underwriting, without losing the prestige and trust earned by our legacy brands. Q Underwriting provides specialist products across Property, Casualty and Motor and is a fantastic one-stop-shop for our brokers looking to place challenging risks and to engage with empowered underwriters.

Over the last year, our GWP has risen to over £170m and we currently have 70,000 policies live across our three core divisions, Casualty & Construction, Property & Package and Motor. The Q Underwriting team has grown too, with our headcount now above 200. All our people are passionate about the brand and the service we provide to our broker and insurer partners and have worked tirelessly to make the transition a success.

Q Underwriting also won the Insurance Business UK 5 Star MGA award and 5 Star Construction award, so it’s been a busy few months!
