Sun Life recognized as top place to work

It’s the fourth straight win for the company

Sun Life US, an international financial services organization, has been recognized as a USA Today Top Place to Work for the fourth year in a row.

Sun Life was also previously recognized as a top employer by the Boston Globe for six years, the Hartford Courant for three years, and the Baltimore Sun.

“Recognitions like USA Today Top Places to Work are meaningful to us because they are based on positive feedback from our own employees, which is something we care deeply about,” said Sun Life US president Dan Fishbein, M.D. “Receiving this award for the fourth year in a row shows that our commitment to culture and inclusion is making an impact and resonating with our team.”

Tammi Wortham, senior vice president, human resources at Sun Life US, said that the firm believes in providing their employees with a healthy work-life balance as well as valuable benefits.

“When employees feel cared for it is a recipe for success. They express even stronger commitment to their work, and we see positive business impacts and employee engagement as a result,” said Wortham.

Previously known as the Top Workplaces USA, the USA Today Top Place to Work award recognizes organizations that put their employees first through their efforts in enhancing their workplace culture.

Sun Life provides asset management, wealth, insurance, and health solutions to individuals and institutions. Its total assets under management is $1.4 trillion as of Dec. 31, 2023.
