Sun Life Hong Kong has announced the launch of eSunPro, a new healthcare service platform that offers one-stop care and services for clients, as well as access to advanced treatment and support for their recovery journey.

eSunPro is exclusively available for Sun Life Hong Kong clients with eligible medical and critical illness insurance plans. The platform includes value-added services that range from the point of diagnosis to post-treatment care.

At the point of diagnosis, eSunPro offers comprehensive genome profiling for clients who are diagnosed with a solid tumour to provide a more precise diagnosis. Medical concierge services include a 24-hour hotline to help clients with appointments for specialist consultation, doctor referral, and more, while local urgent care allows clients to urgently transfer them from the HA hospital to a private medical facility. Finally, AdvicePro offers a face-to-face second medical consultation or teleconsultation given by a network medical specialist in Hong Kong.

During treatment, the platform also allows for a cashless arrangement service that is approved prior to hospitalization in order to remove the worry about making claims upon discharge. Clients in Mainland China can also utilise accompanying and navigation services at the designated Mainland China VIP Hospital Network as well as doctor referral and booking assistance for hospitalisation.

Finally, for the after-treatment services, eSunPro provides mental health and daily life support for clients and their spouse, as well as children and parents plus pet care services. Free psychological support sessions are also provided to clients and their immediate family members if they are diagnosed with a cancer related illness or have suffered from a stroke.

“Through the value-added services of our new eSunPro healthcare service platform, we aim to provide clients with more advanced and diversified treatment options, while helping them focus on recovery and safeguarding their health. As a trusted partner in health, we look forward to continuing to enhance the customer experience and fulfilling our long-term commitment to helping our clients live healthier lives,” Yeung said.
