SiriusPoint selects new CFO

SiriusPoint chief financial officer David Junius has resigned to pursue other opportunities and will be succeeded by new hire Steve Yendall.

Coming onboard the global insurer and reinsurer at the end of the month, Yendall most recently served as Guy Carpenter’s managing director for Canada and North America. His two and a half decades of industry experience also includes time spent at RSA Canada.

“Steve has an accomplished financial background with considerable experience in the property & casualty insurance industry,” noted fellow RSA alumnus and SiriusPoint chief executive Scott Egan.

“He also has a strong track record of leading successful transformational change – he will be an invaluable asset to SiriusPoint as we execute on our short-term priorities and longer-term strategic objectives. I am delighted to welcome Steve to SiriusPoint and look forward to working with him again.”

Meanwhile Egan thanked Junius and wished the outgoing CFO well in his future endeavours.
