SGI Canada, Coachman renew IBAC partnership

In addition to renewed support for the BIP, SGI and Coachman will continue to invest in IBAC’s other initiatives, such as the association’s technology leadership and professional development of the broker workforce, and IBAC’s federal advocacy to keep banking and insurance as separate industries.

“We are pleased to be a Full Partner of the BIP again this year,” said SGI Canada EVP and chief customer officer Paul Mlodzik. “As a company 100% committed to broker distribution, SGI knows the value of local knowledge and advice, and we are proud to support these initiatives.”

“We greatly appreciate SGI Canada’s renewed investment and the continuation of our long-standing partnership,” said IBAC CEO Peter Braid.

Braid additionally commented that SGI’s business model of offering products exclusively through the broker channel is a “strong vote of confidence in the important role of the insurance broker.”
