Sedgwick announces line-up changes for liability claims

Sedgwick’s Neil Wright (pictured above), who moved from the UK to Australia six years ago, is again on the move – this time to take on the responsibility of supporting the growth of the company’s unit in the US that looks after complex professional and product liability claims.

Replacing the international insurance claims expert as Australia liability head is industry veteran Talei Morgan (pictured top right), who has been working closely with Wright over the past 12 months.

“Both of these appointments are win-win and highlight the continued development of our team domestically and abroad,” commented Kimberley Daley, professional services head for Australia, in an emailed release.

“We are very grateful to Neil for all of his work with us. Similarly, we are delighted to see Talei assume responsibility for liability in Australia and look forward to what she will achieve in the future.”

Morgan, who has more than 25 years of loss adjusting experience, said: “The opportunity to run our Australian liability business is an exciting prospect for me. I look forward to working with the team in continuing our journey of growth and innovation in the Australian market.”

Meanwhile Wright, in addition to his LinkedIn post, declared: “I am honoured to bring my knowledge to this new opportunity to join one of the specialty liability claims teams in the United States. The sky is the limit on what we can achieve for our clients.”

Sedgwick operates in 80 countries, employing 30,000 people.
