Sapiens names new CRO for North America

Insurance software provider Sapiens International Corporation has announced that Gary Sherne is rejoining the company as executive vice president and chief revenue officer for North America.

In his new role, Sherne will oversee all of Sapiens’ North American go-to-market activities, including sales, customer success, presales, marketing, partnership, and analyst relations. He will be responsible for increasing revenue growth and driving strategic partnerships and growth with existing North American customers.

Sherne has more than 25 years of experience leading insurance software companies. Most recently, he served as chief revenue officer and president of insurance at Vitech Systems Group. He also served as Invoice Cloud’s senior advisor, developing its office of the CRO.

Prior to that, Sherne served as president of Sapiens’ global P&C and reinsurance division. Before that, Sherne served as president and CEO of StoneRiver, which was acquired by Sapiens in 2017.
