Insurance Business (IB) has released its list of the Top Insurance Employers of 2024, featuring a selection of Australian and New Zealand companies recognised for creating inclusive and satisfying work environments.
Top Insurance Employers of 2024 list
IB’s process for identifying top employers began with inviting organisations across Australia and New Zealand to submit an employer form, detailing their offerings and practices.
Subsequently, employees of these nominated companies were asked to anonymously rate their workplaces on a scale from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) across various areas such as:
benefits;
compensation;
culture;
employee development; and
commitment to diversity and inclusion.
To be eligible for the final list, each organisation required a minimum number of employee responses relative to its overall size. Those that achieved an average satisfaction rating of 75% or higher were named Top Insurance Employers of 2024.
New Zealand’s top insurance employers for 2024
One of the notable winners in New Zealand this year is NZbrokers Management (NZbrokers).
NZbrokers, the largest independent insurance broking collective and the third-largest broking group in New Zealand, focuses on providing support and systems to help independent brokers deliver better client outcomes.
With 47 members managing approximately $850 million in premiums, NZbrokers combines local expertise with the financial strength of its parent company, AUB.
