Bermuda headquartered reinsurance firm RenaissanceRe continues to expand its Capital Partners team, adding Keenan Press from Horseshoe as a new VP to lead on investor due diligence, as well as two new analysts in recent weeks.

The RenaissanceRe Capital Partners team, which is the third-party capital management and insurance-linked securities (ILS) unit of RenRe, now counts nineteen members in total.

As we recently explained, the unit continues to expand its business operations, having added just over $1.4 billion of capital to its range of insurance-linked securities (ILS) structures and joint-venture vehicles so far in 2022.

As a result, it’s no surprise the unit is expanding headcount to meet the increased demands of managing more investor capital, as well as new structures, such as its recently launched specialty and casualty lines vehicle Fontana.

Keenan Press joins the RenRe Capital Partners team today as a Vice President, reporting to Chris Parry, Head of Capital Partners at RenRe.

Press most recently worked at Artex-owned ILS servicing specialist Horseshoe in Bermuda, where he was SVP and Head of Investor Services at the Horseshoe Fund Services unit.

Press will be leading the RenRe Capital Partners investor due diligence function.

While at Horseshoe, Press was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Investor Services team, and had oversight of the delivery of a full range of services to clients, including the provision of due diligence and regulatory assistance for ILS clients and institutional investors.

Press has more than 18 years of fund administration experience and expertise, with an investor services focus. He’s also experienced in new client implementations, system development and conversions, internal controls, compliance, and anti-money laundering.

First, Bryce Wojciechowski, who joins as Analyst, Capital Partners to work in Investor Relations. Previously Wojciechowski worked at Hiscox Re and ILS.

In addition, Alex Staab joined Capital Partners as a Quantitative Analyst and will mainly work on the Medici Cat Bond Fund.

Head of Capital Partners Parry commented on the hires, “The recent hires are a testament to the success Capital Partners has had over the last few years, and it will allow us to continue the expansion of our third-party capital offering.”
