Quotey adds Sports & Fitness Insurance Canada to its marketplace

Beauty and aesthetics are the first of Sports & Fitness Insurance Canada’s products that will be available through Quotey, which will then expand to its solutions for health clubs, personal trainers, martial arts studios and sports teams later this spring.

“We’re proud to showcase Sports & Fitness Insurance Canada on Quotey and our users will instantly benefit from their market leading solutions,” said Quotey co-founder and CEO, Nick Kidd.

“Their dedication to the Canadian fitness industry is borne out in the quality of their products and services. They have an unparalleled understanding of the health, beauty and fitness market which comes across in the robustness and competitiveness of their offerings.”

Sports & Fitness Insurance Canada’s office manager, Anita Bewley, is excited to join this burgeoning Canadian marketplace and expand its products to more brokers. “Through Quotey, we aim to showcase several Sports & Fitness products and help brokers transform the way they support their clients in this product category,” she said.

Building a presence

Quotey launched in late 2022 as a “multi-insurer commercial lines quoting and product comparison tool” for brokers.

Developed over three years, the Whitby, ON based insurtech startup aims to change the way the commercial insurance market operates in Canada, helping to streamline the work that brokers do and improve the value and support they provide to their clients.

Quotey launched last year in all provinces except Quebec, where it will be available in later 2023. The platform costs $10 per month, allowing brokers to complete a single digital application for over 700 classes of business and access comparable quotes from participating businesses instantly.
