Greg Main has been named the head of Kiwi insurer Quest Insurance Group Ltd, the subsidiary of Geneva Finance Limited and a part of the Geneva group of companies.

In his new role, Main will lead Quest Insurance Group using over three decades’ worth of experience in insurance, banking, and risk management. He has extensive experience in general and life insurance, including direct and intermediated distribution, underwriting and pricing, lending, risk management, and compliance. Main has a strong background in strategic development and management of insurance products, and prides himself in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Established in 2004, Quest Insurance prides itself in being a new, 100% New Zealand-owned and operated insurer with its own insurance license issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ). Based in Mount Wellington, Auckland. Its offering includes lifestyle protection insurance and mechanical breakdown insurance, as well as products in asset protection insurance, vehicle insurance, and credit contract indemnity insurance.

As of August 2022, Quest Insurance has been awarded a financial strength rating of B (Fair) and long-term issuer’s credit rating of bb+ (fair) by credit ratings agency A.M. Best.

Geneva Finance, likewise a Kiwi-owned and operated company, provides finance and financial services to the consumer credit and small to medium business markets. Among other services, it has provided funding for family vehicles since 2002.
