Pembridge Insurance affirms support for IBAC's BIP

Another Canadian insurer has reaffirmed its support for the broker channel, as the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) announced that Pembridge Insurance Company has renewed its Full Partner support for the IBAC’s Broker Identity Program (BIP).

The BIP is a national advertising campaign that raises awareness of how much value brokers provide to their clients, particularly when it comes to choice, advice, and advocacy.

Pembridge’s support and investment extend not only to the BIP, but to the IBAC’s other initiatives, such as the association’s technology leadership; its push for the professional development of the broker workforce; and IBAC’s continued advocacy to maintain the separation of the banking and insurance industries to maintain a fair and competitive marketplace.

“At Pembridge Insurance we recognize how essential brokers are to the Canadian insurance

industry,” said Pembridge Insurance vice president Jennifer Power. “The Broker Identity Program provides the perfect opportunity to express our support and appreciation for the brokers we partner with.”

“We greatly appreciate Pembridge’s long-standing support and partnership,” added IBAC CEO Peter Braid. “Their renewed investment clearly demonstrates their strong commitment to the broker channel, and underscores our shared priority of putting customers first.”
