Oracle Group announces merger with NSW-based AR

2 February 2023

Oracle Group Australia has announced it will merge its NSW operations with authorised representative Mutual Brokers Sydney.

The broker describes the agreement as “natural progression” for the two companies, who have had a working partnership for three years.

Mutual Brokers Sydney Owner Wayne Knight, who will be joining Oracle Group (NSW) as an executive director, says the merger is “a good initiative for both parties”.

“With the team that we have in place, we can provide all levels of professional services for our clients. The future is exciting, and we are prepared for the challenges ahead,” Mr Knight said.

The Mutual Brokers Sydney team will continue to be based in offices in Erina and Bella Vista while also hosting smaller operations in Newcastle and Sydney.

The move marks Oracle Group’s third merger in recent years, following deals with Affinity Insurance Services and Paragon Insurance Solutions.

“The expansion of Oracle’s Authorised Representative network is a prime focus of our business and we are actively seeking new ARs to join our network,” Oracle Group MD Matthew Denehy said.
