OIP firm expands to India

Outsource Insurance Professionals (OIP), an outsourcing company serving the excess and surplus market in the US, UK and Canada, has announced plans to expand its offices to Hyderabad, India.

The company said it had grown significantly, particularly in the premium services segment. In order to meet market demands and position itself for further growth, OIP said expansion was “the next logical step.”

“Our new location will not only elevate the service excellence our clients have come to expect, but also provide vast expertise to advance the insurtech strides we’ve already made,” said Martina Seferovic, president and CEO of OIP. “The office serves as a hub for the company’s India-based employees, who will emulate Serbia’s successful model of graduating from the company’s proprietary insurance academy prior to their client integration.”

Hyderabad is one of India’s leading technology hubs, OIP said.

“Not only does this new office position our business to expand globally, it also offers the local community significant growth opportunities that offer a lasting impact on the employees and their families,” said Shawnae Bentley, vice president of global sales at OIP. “We look forward to growing our team there and becoming a contributing member of the Hyderabad community.”

OIP is headquartered in Nevada. It has processing centres in Belgrade and Nis, Serbia, and Zagreb, Croatia. The company provides assistant underwriting and insurtech services to MgAs, carriers, program managers, retail brokers, inspection companies, third-party administrators, and IT companies.
