NFP taps new SVP of human resources in Canada

Lapierre joins NFP from ice hockey equipment manufacturer CCM Hockey, where she served as global vice president, people and culture, as well as chief human resources officer. She had also held several human resources and leadership roles for different organizations, such as RSA Canada.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Concordia University and a master’s in psychology from McGill University. Lapierre is also a member of the Forbes Human Resources Council.

Last month, NFP named John Stewart as senior vice president, surety leader in Canada. Stewart most recently served as senior underwriter at Allianz Trade in North America. Before that, he worked in several underwriting and leadership roles for Liberty International Underwriting / Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and Ally Financial.
