Moray & Agnew kickstarts June with 15 senior appointments


It’s only the second week of June, but insurance law firm Moray & Agnew is already full of activity, announcing a senior appointment spree composed of new partners, special counsel, and senior associates.

Moray & Agnew’s four new partners are:


Derek Collins, Melbourne, insurance;
Louise Hogg, Brisbane, employment;
Devinda Jayatilake, Melbourne, employment; and
Beth Russell, Melbourne, insurance.

The firm’s new special counsels are:


Sarah Hammond, Newcastle, construction;
Margarita Ntostas, Melbourne, insurance;
Jessica Pendlebury, Brisbane, insurance;
Danielle Sweeney, Newcastle, insurance;
Joshua Szwarcbard, Melbourne, property;
Helene Tretheway, Newcastle, insurance;
Maja Visic, Brisbane, insurance; and
Joan Williams, Newcastle, insurance.

Lastly, the firm’s new senior associates are:


Tessa Board, Sydney, insurance;
Lucinda Cook, Melbourne, employment; and
Isabella Rebellato, Newcastle, commercial litigation.

The 15 senior promotions follow Moray & Agnew’s appointment of a new partner in its insurance practice in Sydney. The insurance law firm also had an appointment spree in late 2021, with three experienced partners and lawyers joining its Perth office in December and 16 senior appointments announced in November.
