The latest Insurance Business Australia Top Insurance Brokerage list, now in its 12th year, recognises firms that excel in providing client-focused solutions.

Selection process for Insurance Business Australia Top Brokerages 2024 list

To determine the rankings, brokerages were invited to submit data on their operations, including key performance indicators such as client base, revenue, and policy growth.

To qualify for consideration, brokerages had to be headquartered in Australia and employ at least three brokers. Rankings were calculated based on cumulative scores across several criteria, including:


number of clients;
client growth;
clients per broker;
policies written; and
revenue per policy.

The brokerage with the lowest overall score across these categories achieved the highest ranking. This methodology ensures that brokerages are recognised for efficiency and performance, regardless of their overall size.
