Claims services provider McLarens has announced Andrew Brooke’s elevation to the position of managing director for both McLarens and Mode Project Solutions in New Zealand.
Brooke (pictured) will helm the strategic direction and operational leadership of the company’s New Zealand branch, including the affiliated Mode Project Solutions.
Who is Andrew Brooke?
Brooke brings to the role a wealth of industry experience spanning over 30 years and holds several professional qualifications, including Chartered Loss Adjuster, Senior Associate of ANZIIF, and Fellow of AICLA. His tenure at McLarens previously included a significant role as an executive general adjuster in the specialist services team, where he was tasked with handling complex and significant loss cases across the country.
Brooke’s contributions to McLarens also extend to his involvement in the firm’s development programs, including training, mentoring, and client relationship management.
Andrew Brooke’s new role
“McLarens is growing in New Zealand as a result of our technical expertise and our ability to settle claims quickly and fairly,” Brooke said. “Moreover, the business has become the premier provider of claims services for all lines of business in the market and increased our CAT delivery capabilities in the region with unprecedented efficiency and responsiveness. I will build on these successes and ensure the business and our clients continue to thrive.”
McLarens Australasia’s regional director, Martyn Wicht, praised Brooke for his deep-rooted knowledge of the New Zealand market, the business, and its clientele.
“Andrew has been integral to our business in New Zealand for more than 15 years. As such, he knows the market, the business, and most importantly, our clients inside out. He has been involved in several high-profile and major losses across New Zealand and is well placed to lead the team and the business forward,” he said.
The departure of Dean Garrod, the preceding managing director of McLarens New Zealand, was noted, as he left the company last month to pursue other opportunities. McLarens expressed its gratitude and well wishes for Garrod’s future endeavours.
