Loss Adjusting Survey 2023

Loss Adjusting Survey 2023

We asked a cross section of individuals from different areas of the Adjusting profession what are some of the key challenges facing the industry?

We approached entry level Adjusters through to Executive Level individuals and summarised the responses into a short survey.

Given the increased number of women moving into surveying/adjusting roles, is this same increase reflected within senior level roles?

What is the main barrier (actual or perceived) that needs to be removed?

In a highly competitive adjusting arena, list in priority order the most important factors to retaining a balanced/skilled workforce.

80% of qualified Loss Adjusters are over 50, what should the profession be doing to equip loss adjusting for the future? What is the most important factor?

Do you think all adjuster appointments (other than major loss) will be digital in the future?

In today’s market when considering a career move, is salary more important than career progression?

I would like to thank all the individuals who contributed to this survey.
