Lockton taps new SVP

Lockton, the world’s largest privately held insurance brokerage, has announced the appointment of Kevin Haas as senior vice president and unit manager for the Pittsburgh and Cleveland markets.

Haas has more than 20 years of industry experience. He most recently served as senior vice president and corporate accounts leader at Marsh.

Prior to that, he held various roles at AIG, including as managing director for the Pittsburgh region and regional manager for the mid-Atlantic environmental practice. Haas began his career as a client manager in the construction practice at Willis.

“Kevin joins Lockton during a time when we are experiencing growth in the region,” said Josh Luther, executive vice president and growth operations director for Lockton’s Midwest region. “His leadership style aligns with our core values, and I know he will be an asset to Pittsburgh and beyond. I feel confident that he will mentor young leaders and further develop client relationships.”

Haas is the latest addition to Lockton. Last month, Lockton Re added Matthew Silley to its cyber practice. In January, Lockton Re appointed Rob Kreager as senior broker and accident, life and health segment leader.
