Lockton has announced the appointment of Eric Collison as vice president and unit manager at its Memphis office.

Collison brings extensive industry experience, having worked at global firms such as Liberty Mutual Insurance and Kemmons Wilson Insurance Group. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including senior account representative, senior branch manager, sales manager, and vice president.

In his new role at Lockton, Collison will oversee clients in the property and casualty sectors.

“I was drawn to Lockton’s culture and the opportunity to create a strong foundation of rising-star leaders in the Memphis office,” Collison said. “By establishing a new unit, we have the capacity to build a new division of producers and cater to the needs of new clients.”

“We were impressed by Eric’s extensive client relationships in Memphis,” said Brian Roberts, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Lockton Midwest. “We believe he will not only strengthen our existing client base but also contribute to our growth and assist in recruitment and retention efforts in Memphis.”

Collison is the latest addition to Lockton’s roster. In April, the company announced the appointment of Peter Chesterfield as senior vice president for its global real estate and construction team. In March, the company tapped Nick Serrault as chief operating officer for key offices within its People Solutions business.
