Lockton Re Capital Markets hires Brendan Roche as Head of Distribution

Lockton Re Capital Markets (LRCM), the division of the global reinsurance broker focused on helping clients access broader pools of capital from across the traditional and capital markets, has hired Brendan Roche from GC Securities as its new Head of Distribution.

In his new role, Roche will report to Zach Breslin, Head of LRCM and will be based in Europe.

He brings more than 25 years of experience to the firm, most recently serving as Senior Vice President (SVP) at GC Securities, the capital markets and insurance-linked securities (ILS) arm of Guy Carpenter.

Previously, he spent more than 13 years with broker Marsh, first as Vice President of Marsh Captive Solutions, and most recently as Global Leader of ILS and SPV Centre of Excellence.
