JAVLN to host ‘AI in insurance’ hybrid event this week

JAVLN will host an InsurTechNZ hybrid online and in-person event on Thursday on the topic “Applying AI to the customer experience in insurance”.
The speakers – JAVLN Founder and CEO Dale Smith, Ando Insurance COO Thérèse Singleton and Arcanum founder and CEO Asa Cox – will discuss designing and integrating artificial intelligence, from both an in-house and external provider perspective.
JAVLN will explore technical and business considerations in using AI to unlock the value of insurance data.
Underwriters and brokers are using AI to process increasing amounts of data in real-time to calculate effective insurance pricing and recommend policies. AI enables a fast and personalised insurance experience for customers.
Mr Smith says digital technologies are more embedded in insurance processes as both employers and customers want the confidence they can counter future disruption after the experience of covid, and local businesses are investing more into automating processes and integrating systems and data to meet greater demand for self-serve options.
The event kicks off at 530pm NZST at 21 Nixon Street, Floor 2, Grey Lynn. Online participation begins 15 minutes later.
