ITC Vegas launches startup pitch competition

18 July 2022

Insurtech Connect (ITC) Vegas is seeking applicants for its first Startup Pitch Competition, to be held on September 20.

Sponsor State Farm and the ITC advisory board will select ten finalists who will be invited to deliver their pitch, with the winner to be selected by live voting by peers in the audience. The winner will present a second time on September 22 and receive a complimentary kiosk at ITC Vegas 2023.

Applications should be submitted by July 31 and finalists will be announced by August 19.

The competition aims to “give an elevated edge to the fierce startup competition across the insurance industry,” the organisers say. “We’re looking for startups who are developing innovative impact and producing dynamic changes across the insurance value chain.”

The finalists will present live on stage for five minutes each, followed by five minutes of Q&A, during the Pitch Competition at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.

Applicants must be seed stage companies, less than three years old, have not yet raised a Series A and have fewer than 30 employees.

Applications can be made here.
