Intact Public Entities enhances access to solutions with new partnership

Intact Public Entities (IPE) will be offering municipalities in Ontario access to enhanced risk management solutions through its new partnership with ClearRisk.

ClearRisk is a provider of cloud-based software solutions for managing risks, claims, vendors, fleets, assets, certificates of insurance, and much more. A partner of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), ClearRisk’s solutions can help streamline and automate risk management practices to minimize risks and exposures, a release said.

The new partnership between IPE and ClearRisk will allow IPE’s municipal clients to receive a rebate to cover the first year start-up costs of ClearRisk’s platform.

“We are excited to be partnering with ClearRisk to help municipalities understand, quantify and reduce their total cost of risk,” said IPE president and principal broker Larry Ryan. “We truly believe in the benefits of this software which is why we are offering a rebate to clients to help with the first year start-up fees.”

“I was a municipal risk manager and I saw the human and financial costs of risk when not managed effectively,” said ClearRisk CEO Craig Rowe. “ClearRisk is on a mission to make risk management solutions accessible and simple to use so that every municipality can protect people from harm and control costs.”

Rowe added that IPE’s commitment to helping its municipal clients is a “perfect fit” with ClearRisk’s mission.

Last year, IPE and its parent company Intact Financial Corporation announced that they would provide $1 million in grants to 10 communities and charities to help them improve their resilience to wildfires, flooding and other natural disasters resulting from the impacts of climate change.
