Insurance Institute of Canada confers National Leadership awards to two executives
The CIP Society – a division of the Insurance Institute of Canada for graduates of the Fellowship (FCIP) and Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) programs – has announced that it has given this year’s National Leadership Award to two executives.
The National Leadership Award for the Emerging Leader category was awarded to Renée-Léa Soucy, directrice principale assurance des Entreprises, Co-operators, PAA. Meanwhile, the National Leadership Award for the Established Leader category was conferred upon Carol Jardine, executive vice president & president, property & casualty operations – Canada at Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, FCIP.
CIP Society’s National Leadership awards were created in 2008 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of members. This year marks the 14th year of the awards program.
“On behalf of our Council and the graduate membership, I am very pleased to congratulate this year’s honourees,” said CIP Society national council chair Rosalind Staples-Simpson. “These members have demonstrated an enduring commitment to their workplaces, the insurance profession and their local communities. We are honoured to have them as part of our membership, and will look forward to the opportunity to celebrate their successes with the industry.”

Earlier this year, the Institute revealed that it had a record number of graduates in the CIP class of 2021. The organization also reported record numbers of students who enrolled in Institute programs, licensing courses and webinars over the past year.
