The best female insurance leaders in New Zealand never let tough times dissuade them; instead, they are blazing a trail.

Insurance Business New Zealand (IBNZ) has unveiled this year’s Elite Women – remarkable female insurance leaders who stand out as beacons of resilience, lead with their hearts, and light the way for other women in the insurance industry.

Finding the best female insurance leaders in New Zealand

IBNZ identified this year’s Elite Women by inviting insurance professionals across New Zealand to nominate exceptional female leaders. Nominees had to be working in a role related to, interacted with, or influenced by the insurance industry. They also had to demonstrate a commitment to their profession.

Afterwards, the IBNZ team asked the nominators to describe their nominee’s standout professional achievements over the past 12 months, initiatives and innovations, and contributions to the insurance industry.

The IBNZ team narrowed down the list to the final 33 Elite Women by reviewing all nominations and examining how each had made a meaningful contribution to the industry.
