Insurance Business reveals Canada’s fastest growing brokerages for 2023

Insurance Business Canada (IBC) has announced this year’s best insurance brokerages – companies that stayed ahead of the game by leveraging the power of their people, partnerships, and technology.

IBC’s Fast Brokerages of 2023 awardees have defied labour shortages and the difficult market with a whopping 111% average growth rate over the last two years. They have been recognised for the following:

expanding their operations;
investing significantly in broker training; and
excelling in customer experience, marketing, and innovation.

Finding Canada’s best insurance brokerages

IBC determined this year’s Fast Brokerages by inviting submissions in December 2022.

The IBC research team asked brokerages to list their revenue totals in 2021 and 2022 and other growth milestones they wanted to highlight. The team then evaluated the nominations received to determine which brokerages experienced standout growth.

IBC awarded brokerages that achieved over 20% growth in revenue volume. It also highlighted five brokerages as fast starters, brokerages that have been operating for three years or less and are making their mark on the insurance landscape.
