Insurance Business reveals Australia’s rising stars for 2022

The insurance industry is notoriously tough for new entrants – it can be difficult to make a name for yourself in a sector that is known for being dominated by an older generation. However, some exciting young professionals are proving their worth – with Insurance Business Australia (IB) shining the spotlight on insurance professionals aged 35 and under who have already distinguished themselves.

IB identified the Australian insurance industry’s rising stars for 2022 by inviting professionals from across the industry to nominate their most exceptional young talent aged 35 or under as of May 31, 2022. The nominee had to be working in a role that related to, interacted with, or impacted the general insurance industry and be committed to a career in insurance with a clear passion for the industry.

The IB team asked the nominees about their current roles, key achievements, career goals, and contributions to the shaping of the Australian insurance industry. Afterwards, the team reviewed all nominations, narrowing the list to 43 of the industry’s most outstanding young professionals.

This year’s rising stars list is sponsored by Blake Oliver Consulting (Blake Oliver), where members of the management and consulting team began their careers in operational insurance, superannuation, and banking roles.
