Insurance Business names Australia’s 5-star BDMs for 2022

Insurance Business Australia (IB) has released its list of 5-star business development managers (BDMs) for 2022, chosen by 100s of brokers.

IB determined the top BDMs in Australia by carrying out extensive research. Its team contacted brokers across the country, engaging in in-depth phone interviews. During the interviews, the brokers named the BDMs who provided the best support based on four criteria: customer service, responsiveness, communication, and product knowledge.

Among the criteria rated by brokers from 1 (least important) to 5 (most important), the respondents deemed “responsiveness” as the most important factor (4.97 of 5), followed by “customer service” (4.90 of 5), “communication” (4.88 of 5), and “product knowledge” (4.64 of 5).

From more than 200 nominations, the list whittled down to 50 BDMs. The 20 individuals rated excellent across all categories were named IB’s 5-star BDMs for 2022, of which 10 are from New South Wales, five from Victoria, three from Queensland, and two from Western Australia.
