Insurance Brands Australia acquires Pollard Insurance Brokers

6 April 2023

Insurance Brands Australia has announced the acquisition of Victoria-based Pollard Insurance Brokers.

The brokerage will continue to work from its Frankston office, and retain the Pollard brand.

Insurance Brands Australia says Pollard will become the seventh brand under its suite of businesses, and the second insurance brokerage brand, alongside Insurance House.

Pollard, which is part of the Steadfast network, was established in 1979, specialising in business insurance and risk assessment solutions. It has since grown into a national brokerage, offering insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes.

“Their wealth of knowledge and services will open tremendous opportunity to Insurance Brands Australia. We look forward to watching their success,” GM Broking Scott Leis said.

Mr Leis told insuranceNEWS.com.au that the acquisition and others like it signal “our strategic intent”.

He says Insurance Brands Australia is now a “highly experienced services business” that can help others grow, and its value proposition has increased since it was acquired by Steadfast last year.
