Chubb has announced the return of industry veteran Will Field to its offices as head of casualty for Asia, effective Q1 2024.

In this key role for the insurer, Field will manage the performance of the company’s casualty portfolio across the region. He will be based in Singapore.

A 20-year stalwart, Field started his career in the industry as a commercial and insurance lawyer. According to his LinkedIn, he was with Chubb (then named ACE) from 2010 to August 2022. Prior to his return, Field is currently the head of claims for Everest Asia Pacific.

Field will report to Chris Gough, who was recently promoted to head of property and casualty in Asia.

“We are delighted to welcome Will back to Chubb – his technical knowhow and understanding of the legal environment across the region, coupled with his commitment to delivering superior customer service make him the ideal person to lead our growing Casualty portfolio in Asia,” Gough said.

Recently, the insurer also announced the promotion of Serene Neo as its new head of accident and health for Asia Pacific.
