India’s AccelTree comes to Australia

29 August 2022

India-based insurtech AccelTree Software says it has been invited to meet with insurers and broking firms in Sydney and Melbourne this week to showcase its point-of-sale solutions.

AccelTree specialised in life insurance digital solutions for over a decade and in recent years has expanded to general insurance.

The platform is designed to ensure sales process compliance by agents, help give customers product advice relevant to their needs and provide an underwriting decision from the system offline in most cases.

It says it has over 25 clients, including many Fortune 500 companies in the insurance sector, and more than 100,000 active users. “We’re visiting Australia on an exploratory business trip,” VP Sales & Marketing Edwin David tells insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“We intend to bring our capabilities in broking solutions, similar to one that was recently introduced in the US. This a multiple-insurer solution where broker agency teams can view and recommend multiple insurers’ products from a single dashboard.”

The insurtech, founded by Chairman Vivek Mannige, says it has partnered with “some of the most reputed insurers in the world” and configured many complex insurance products in a wide range of locations.

Clients in India include Tata AIA, India First Life and Birla SunLife. In Malaysia, the team is currently enabling around 40,000 agents to onboard customers, and Prudential Malaysia is a longstanding client.
