ICA to host in-person meetings for Brisbane communities

21 November 2022

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) and insurers will host in-person panels for flood-affected customers in Brisbane and nearby communities.

The meetings will be held from 12pm to 8pm to allow policyholders to talk with insurers about their claims and any other issues.

ICA CEO Andrew Hall says in-person events organised by the ICA earlier in the year have helped provide customers with direct dialogue to discuss their concerns.

“While insurers are available by phone or web channels we know that many people prefer to discuss their claims in-person, so we are ensuring there is opportunity for this face-to-face interaction to occur,” Mr Hall said.

Meetings will be held on November 23 at Moorooka Community Centre and November 24 at Sandgate Townhall.

Attendants are asked to book appointments ahead of the event.
