Insurance brokerage and financial services firm HUB International is once again supporting Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL), this time as the primary sponsor of Pietro Fittipaldi’s No. 30 entry at the upcoming Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto event and as full-season associate sponsor of RLL’s No. 15 entry driven by Graham Rahal.

Larry Lineker, executive vice president and executive management team member at HUB, had this to say about the renewed tie-up: “What a thrilling ride it has been with the RLL team over the last couple of seasons; it was an easy decision to keep it rolling for another year.

In its sponsorship announcement, HUB highlighted its ties with the automotive and racing sectors, pointing to the nearly 40% of auto dealerships in Canada that the broker supports in terms of risk management.

Additionally, the company provides insurance for 13 full-time INDYCAR drivers, representing half of the competition. HUB has a longstanding relationship with RLL, insuring the team for over seven years and sponsoring Rahal’s No. 15 car for the past four years.

HUB was the primary sponsor for Jack Harvey’s No. 30 car at the Honda Indy Toronto in the 2023 season. The event was a highlight of the INDYCAR series and one of Toronto’s biggest sports events since the pandemic.

This year, the sponsorship will transition to Fittipaldi, a seasoned driver with accolades in multiple racing disciplines, including as a Haas F1 Team reserve and test driver.

“This is a celebration of the business that we do together throughout all our racing programs and the Bobby Rahal Automotive Group, which is also involved with HUB,” said RLL co-owner Bobby Rahal. “Our relationship continues to grow, and our ongoing collaboration reflects our mutual desire to grow our businesses collectively. We look forward to a successful 2024 season both on track and off with HUB.”

The 2024 Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto event will be held from July 19 to 21 at Exhibition Place.
