HSIP swoops for Virginia agency

Highstreet Insurance Partners (HSIP) has announced that it has acquired Virginia-based Clarke & Sampson Insurance (C&S).

C&S is a third-generation independent insurance agency that traces its roots to 1946. The firm provides business and personal insurance, as well as specialty capabilities for trade unions, political organizations, nonprofits and more.

“We are thrilled to join Highstreet and expand our reach,” said Bill Howard, president of C&S. “Our local expertise combined with Highstreet’s focus and reach will allow us to offer stellar coverage and service to more businesses across the Highstreet community.”

“We are delighted to have Bill Howard, Jeff Miller, Scott Jefferson and their talented team join us,” said Scott Wick, founder and CEO of HSIP. “Clarke & Sampson bring a unique set of skills to our agency partners and I’m excited for all of us at Highstreet.”

HSIP was founded in 2018. One of the fastest-growing insurance agencies in North America, it has completed 137 transactions since its launch. In August, the company acquired Michigan-based Paragon Underwriters. The acquisition of Clarke & Sampson is HSIP’s 37th transaction of 2022.
