How NIG are investing in their people

If you’ve been following our apprenticeship journey, you’ll know that the 22nd November marked our risk control surveyor higher apprentice’s one-year anniversary.

Since November, they’ve all been working hard to get their National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) and following an intensive 2 week training course they are eagerly awaiting their results at the end of April.

Their trainer Geoff Silver, from Phoenix health and safety, had some lovely words to say about our apprentices and we couldn’t be more proud.

“I couldn’t let time go by without commenting on what a pleasure it has been to meet up with them. A real credit to your organisation (and to your recruitment process). We had 100% attendance, amazing punctuality, and what they lacked in experience they made up for in attitude, professionalism, and maturity. They were an absolute delight.” – Geoff Silver, Phoenix health and safety

They have made great progress since they started 17 months ago and continue to do so. They are currently completing desktop surveys independently and working towards their diploma. They all passed their M93 in Q1 and are now CII accredited!

Congratulations to all our apprentices and we look forward to sharing more progress throughout the year.
