Heavyweight world champion, Anthony Joshua OBE, to open Day 2 of #BIBA2025
Day 2 of The BIBA Conference 2025 is set to be a showstopper, with boxing icon Anthony Joshua OBE on the Keynote Stage in the morning and legendary football coach Sir Gareth Southgate in the afternoon.
Anthony Joshua OBE is a British professional boxer, former 2x Heavyweight World Champion and has an impressive professional boxing record of 28 wins and 4 losses with 25 knockouts. A gold medallist at the 2012 London Olympics, Joshua has also built an influential presence in the business world. At #BIBA2025, he will sit down with conference host Clive Myrie to share lessons on resilience, leadership, and success both inside and outside the ring.
The BIBA Conference 2025 runs on 14 and 15 May and promises two days of insightful discussions, industry expertise, and world-class speakers.
BIBA CEO Graeme Trudgill commented: “It’s going to be a knock out with our inspiring and engaging line up for The BIBA Conference 2025. The subjects and speakers will offer relevant insights, motivation and learnings for our members as we move into a New Era of insurance broking, business, politics, capacity claims and much more.”
Kicking off The BIBA Conference with a geopolitical panel will be Air Vice Marshal Ranald Munro, former Deputy Labour leader, Baroness Harriet Harman KC, former Defence Secretary The Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt and BBC journalist and former North America Editor, Justin Webb. Each will give their views on how geopolitics and world conflict will shape A New Era for the UK, business, risk and ultimately insurance.
To wrap up the Conference former England men’s senior team Head Coach, Sir Gareth Southgate, will take to the stage to give delegates powerful insights on leadership, resilience and strategy.
Alongside the Keynote sessions there will also be six Seminar sessions with experts from across the insurance sector. These will equip delegates with the knowledge and skills needed for A New Era in insurance.
