Haven Life bolsters leadership team


Haven Life, a digital direct-to-consumer life insurance agency backed and wholly owned by Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company, has announced the addition of three new members to its leadership team. Sahang-Hee Hahn joins as head of strategy and planning, Matt Myers has been named head of marketing, and Kimberly Love has been appointed head of insurance services.

“Our core mission at Haven Life is to make life insurance more accessible and affordable for everyone, but also to make the application process simple and enjoyable,” said Mitch Ocampo, head of Haven Life. “As we continue to deliver on that core mission, it is important for us to bring in the right talent to help fuel growth.

“We are so pleased to have Sahang-Hee and Kimberly join our team as we continue to build a better experience for our customers, and excited to announce Matt’s new role as head of marketing to further expand our leadership team. I look forward to seeing their talents continue to grow and shine as we innovate together.”

In her new role, Hahn will help shape the company’s strategy and develop business processes that lead to greater efficiency across business lines. Hahn holds an MBA from the Wharton School, where she majored in finance and management. She also holds a juris doctorate from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. She holds Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

In her new role, Love will lead the actuarial functions of Haven Life, including pricing, underwriting, policy administration and claims management. Love has 20 years of industry experience leading product development for life insurance and annuities products. Prior to joining Haven Life, she served as vice president and marketing actuary with Canada Life Reinsurance. She has also held positions at Penn Mutual and Voya Financial.

Myers joined Haven Life in 2016. He has more than 15 years of experience in customer acquisition and user growth experience. In addition to his current responsibility for scaling the company’s direct acquisition marketing programs, Myers will be taking on additional responsibilities related to branding, creative services, content and public relations.
