Halliwell, a loss consulting firm specializing in engineering, forensic investigation, environmental, and construction consulting, has named Tracey D. Dodd (pictured above) as president of its US operations.
Dodd will oversee market-facing initiatives, brand development, and growth strategies, including the introduction of a new environmental consulting service.
In her new role, Dodd will work alongside Chad Zielinski, senior vice president of operations, who will continue to lead service delivery, focusing on operational efficiency, client services, and daily business administration.
Jack Halliwell, the company’s founder, will transition from his role as president to serve as senior executive strategy advisor, providing support to both Dodd and Zielinski as they guide the company’s growth.
Dodd, regarded as a leading expert in environmental loss in the US, comes to Halliwell from a global consulting firm, where she led its large complex loss practice.
With over 25 years of experience, Dodd has expertise in environmental, health, and safety projects, including infection control risk assessments in healthcare settings and risk assessments for food and product contamination. She has also led business acquisitions and organizational management efforts, with a focus on corporate diversity and stewardship.
Halliwell’s appointment of Dodd follows a period of expansion for the firm. Earlier this year, the company launched a time element and delay analysis (TEDA) service, and in May it acquired FireTox, a firm specializing in fire and toxicological sciences, to expand its capabilities in scientific fire research.
“I look forward to working alongside the talented team to expand our existing capabilities as well as potentially new environmental consulting services and continue building on Halliwell’s strong reputation in the market,” Dodd said.
Zielinski highlighted Dodd’s commitment to the firm’s mission and success, noting her collaborative leadership style.
“I’ve seen great things that can happen from working collaboratively and I’m excited to team up with Tracey. In fact, I can’t wait to see how she brings new energy, perspectives, and innovations to the organization, and puts her own stamp on our firm’s future,” Zielenski said.
Halliwell, in his new advisory role, pointed to Dodd’s appointment as a key moment for the company.
“Her extensive experience in environmental loss consulting, combined with her exceptional executive leadership skills, will be instrumental in driving our growth and enhancing our service offerings in the States. I am confident that her strategic vision and deep industry knowledge will take us to the next level,” Halliwell said.
